Important Announcements
- The due date for the 2nd half Real Estate taxes (for 2022) is July 6, 2023.
The due date for the 2nd half Manufactured Home taxes (for 2023) is July 20, 2023.
In order to avoid a late payment penalty, payment must be received or post-marked by the appropriate due date. A ten percent (10%) late payment penalty will be applied to the amount due after the due date.
- Payment Options:
In person – at Room 201 in the Ottawa County Courthouse between 8:30AM and 4:30PM, Monday through Friday. Note, only cash or checks are accepted at the office.
Drop Box – located under the canopy at the Jefferson Street entrance of the Ottawa County Courthouse. Please do not make cash payments via the drop box.
Mail – Please make sure payments are postmarked by the appropriate due date in order to avoid a late payment penalty.
Electronic Payments (Credit Card/Debit Card/Echeck) – By phone or on-line. By phone call 1-888-3578394 and use the jurisdiction code of 4561 for Ottawa County. On-line – click the “Start Here” button on the “View and pay your real estate tax bill” line below. Find your
parcel via the search screen. Then click on the electronic payment method you want to use toward the bottom of the screen which will take you to our third party processor’s website. Note, there are additional charges for using these electronic payments methods.
